Diana Ruban, born in 1999 in the Poltava Region, Kremenchuk, is a Ukrainian artist who currently resides and works in her hometown. Her passion for exploring the feeling of childhood memories that evoke positive and traumatic pain is the driving force behind her art. She believes that the memories that remain are the ones that shape our humanity, compassion, and desires that will guide us in the future. Ruban creates pictures that focus on emotions to touch the human soul, using memories of games, pleasant moments, and experiences that unite or, on the contrary, distance individuals. Having acquired good empathy since childhood, she is particularly attuned to the emotional states of others, and relies primarily on her feelings as inspiration for her work. Works are kept in private collections of Ukraine, Germany, France, USA, Switzerland and Sweden.
